As I sit here writing this with the rain drizzling down the window and a soggy border pup snoozing by my feet, Tuscany seems a very distant memory indeed - a lovely one to have though.
I thoroughly recommend it to one and all, it truly is one of these places that will live up to any expectations you may have. My own personal expectations were olive trees, vine yards and good wine - all of which were present in abundance. We were treated also to the waft of lavender in the evenings, rosemary bushes, a beautiful vegetable garden at the foot of where we were staying, fields of smiling sunflowers and a very friendly fat Italian cat!
All this and amazing food - we really couldn't have asked for more.

sounds blissful!
I bet biscuit enjoyed his holidays, but was happy to have his family back!
T'was very blissful indeed, ahhhh! He had a grand old time although I think he found Rogart a little exhausting! Speaking of Biscuit, thankyou for the cute picture :) Nice to remember him when he was still relatively innocent!
Hi, I think you may be my cousin!
I recall your Mum saying you were a florist in Edinburgh when I first brought my daughter (called Isabella - funnily enough, considering your blog post title) to the UK a few years ago. I'm compiling a scrapbook for her and chanced upon some photos from the gathering Dad organised to introduce Isabella to her extended family.
I should start a blog one of these days but always have too much else to do.
Cheers
